Karen brings a wealth of seasoned expertise to your family. Her three decades in the field span local and national senior housing management, an in-depth understanding of complex healthcare funding, and nearly 20 years of hands-on, direct in-home care.

Dawn Power brings a unique blend of clinical empathy and operational efficiency to the Just Like Family community. She began her career as a Health Care Assistant in Victoria, BC, specializing in geriatric psychiatry and long-term care—a foundation that instilled a deep commitment to patient advocacy.

Since relocating to Alberta, Dawn has focused on operational excellence, specializing in client relations, payroll, and scheduling. She continues to serve her community as an elderly companion and a support provider for adults with FASD and Autism. By merging her clinical background with strong administrative skills, Dawn ensures that both daily operations and client relationships run seamlessly.

Outside of work, Dawn is an avid hiker who enjoys exploring the mountains and water with her fiancé and her two dogs, Moose and Ruby.
