Support: Just Like Family Home Care has immediate support from the first phone call and then with your in-home assessment. Navigating your important decisions are part of the discussion that we have with you and your loved ones.
Communication: We create a custom case plan for you and your loved ones that takes into account way more than the basics—we get to know you! The care plan, care notes, schedule, and fully transparent billing are all standard in how we operate.
Compassion: We know that these discussions are difficult and we are here to make things a bit easier. It isn’t uncommon for us to leave with a hug on the first visit.

We always focus on being flexible. To ensure the top quality and consistency of a caregiver, we would suggest a minimum of 3 hours twice a week. This makes it possible to have a regular caregiver that results in both continuity of care as well as create a positive bond.
Yes, we have staff that drive, but we do not encourage our staff to transport clients for safety reasons. Our staff can escort clients in taxis or other forms of transportation.
The FMC program funding does not cover the full cost for private care. Clients are able to access FMC and then pay the slight top up for care. Many families even add hours outside what is provided by FMC for additional companionship and support that is outside of what FMC covers. We are a full a-la-carte home care service provider with everything customized to making your lives easier.
