OwnerColleen is the Chief Executive Officer of Just Like Family Home Care – Brantford. She brings 25 years of patient care experience to the organization. She has worked in Ontario’s largest and most dynamic hospitals and cancer centers, where she provided direct patient care as a nurse, giving empathy and compassion in her care of loved ones . Throughout her career, Colleen has transitioned her expertise from bedside care to leadership, leveraging her vast knowledge to build and grow strong, compassionate teams of healthcare professionals.
Colleen is deeply passionate about creating safe, high-quality patient care, fostering healthy work environments, and supporting the professional growth of her team members. Her leadership has been recognized with numerous awards for excellence in patient care and team development.
In addition to her work at Just Like Family, Colleen is the co-founder of the Raw Carrot Soup Enterprise, a social enterprise that provides meaningful employment to individuals across Canada who may otherwise face barriers to work. Colleen’s commitment to community extends beyond her professional life, as she is an active member of her church and a proud mom of four hockey-loving children. Her dedication to service and leadership makes her an invaluable asset to Just Like Family Home Health Care.

OwnerRyan serves as the Chief Operating and Technology Officer at Just Like Family Home Health Care, bringing nearly 30 years of technology expertise to the healthcare sector. With over 15 years of experience in the hospital industry, Ryan has successfully led diverse teams of professionals, managing complex projects, and driving innovation to improve operational efficiency and patient care. His passion for technology and leadership has made him an invaluable asset to both his team and the communities he serves.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ryan is deeply committed to giving back. He is an active volunteer in his church, supporting local initiatives and responding to calls for direct aid. Whether it’s moving a house, distributing meals, or singing Christmas carols, Ryan is always there with a positive attitude, ready to lend a hand. His dedication extends beyond local boundaries, as he has also volunteered internationally, helping to restore essential services in the aftermath of major natural disasters.
