My 94-year-old mother lived with me and had a fall. She had to be placed unexpectedly in Kipling Acres long-term care facility on July 18th. My daughter was being married August 12th out of town and the whole family would be attending. As my mom was still adjusting to Kipling Acres, we were very concerned about her not having a daily visitor. Just Like Family Home Care provided a wonderful afternoon companion. Bukola, the Director of Care for the Etobicoke office, met with my mom and I for almost 2 hours. She eased all of my concerns and saw what was needed, what we would expect and toured the facility with me to see where everything my mom liked was located. She matched us up perfectly with one of her PSWs, Bibi. I was so worry free that I even added two more weeks, when I was home, just so my mom could continue to enjoy Bibi’s company. The detailed daily reports were wonderful and enabled us all to enjoy the time away. I would recommend Just Like Family Home Care to anyone who takes care of an elderly/disabled person. Wish I had known about this company while my mom was living with me for 5 years. I would give Bukola and Bibi 10 stars if I could.
