Mom spent her days by herself and was rather withdrawn from life, so in December we contacted Just Like Family Home Care. Karen put us all at ease when she came to our home to meet us. Although mom was hesitant at first and not sure what to expect, she agreed to give a companion a try. After her first meeting with Joy, the Companion Karen paired with Mom, Mom was hooked. Between Karen and Joy, Mom has started to live life again, she looks forward to her weekly visit with Joy very much and really enjoys spending time with her. Over and above that Karen has provided our family with help in navigating the senior world and put us in touch with people who can help us to navigate through all of the things that involve living as a Senior in Calgary, which is helping us to make important decisions and to help ourselves and Mom to live a more fulfilled life. Karen is truly passionate about what she does and it shows in how she stops at nothing to help a family. This has made such a difference to us! The full service that Just Like Family provides is Phenomenal and invaluable!! I cannot recommend them enough!!
