We believe that having a quality match creates a therapeutic relationship that benefits both you and your loved one, but also for our caregiver! We strive to always have the same caregiver and we often have a backup who will also be known to your family. This ensures that you are never confronted with having a stranger in your home and our care team supports this consistent home care assistance.

Our Just Like Family team is always focused on the perfect match, so we have a variety of caregivers including certified care-aides, personal service workers, social workers, and companionship “experts”. We match caregivers who have experience with specific challenges and provide ongoing professional development for our team so that you can rest assured that you have someone who can and will go above and beyond.

This might be our favourite question! We are able to do whatever the challenge of the day is. That could be in personal care such as toileting, showering, and mobility support. And it could mean a whole lot of other things including meal preparation and serving, housekeeping, or laundry. Often we provide respite for family or ensuring that you don’t miss a special event. We provide peace of mind for post operative care and even do some of the little errands that feel overwhelming at times. We do what we can to put a smile on our clients’ faces. A smile is the best medicine!
